About
Lawrence D. Griffin is a self-taught photographer whose work reflects a deep passion for nature, light, and storytelling. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Lawrence now calls the scenic shores of Lake Huron a home setting that continues to fuel his creative vision. Surrounded by the ever-changing moods of the Great Lakes and the richness of its wildlife, he draws endless inspiration from the landscapes that have become both his canvas and his classroom.
Lawrence's journey into photography began unexpectedly at his son's birthday, the first time he picked up a camera. That single moment behind the viewfinder sparked a lifelong pursuit. Since then, he has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to mastering the craft— balancing technical skill with an instinctive eye and a reverence for the natural world.
He and his wife Tammy are proud parents to three wonderful children, who remain a constant source of inspiration and grounding. Over the years, Lawrence has earned recognition and awards from leading names in the photography industry, yet he remains deeply committed to growth, learning, and sharing.
Today, Lawrence focuses on commissioned work, fine art print sales, and is in the early stages of developing his first photography book.
